This is very difficult because I could not remember many people that nurtured me in a direct way when I was a child. But I did come up with two people, My mother and my kindergarten teacher Mrs. Fuentes. I remember my mother always being there for me as a child, she made sure that she was in school when I took my breaks and when I got out in the afternoons. She was always making sure that my homework was done in time and correctly, that my projects were done the best.
Because my mother was always at school making sure I was doing what I needed to made me the mother I am today. I am constantly in my child's school having a relationship with everyone that he comes in contact with during the day. I make sure that I know what his routine is, and what he is learning in each class.
The second person, Mrs. Fuentes was the best teacher I have ever had. I can still remember her face when she sat down with me trying to teach me something new. She always believed in me, and my abilities to become something great. Even as I grew older, Mrs. Fuentes was always looking out for me, making sure that I continue to show the best of me, and if I did not I would hear an ear full.
Mrs. Fuentes taught me the kind of teacher I want to be. When I think of her, I think of a nurturing, loving, patience, caring teacher that made sure we were learning to best of our abilities. That is what I want to be, when I grow up...
