- Appreciate childhood as a unique and valuable stage of the human life cycle
- To be an early childhood professional one needs to understand that each child is a gift, and that they will become the future
- Respect the dignity, worth, and uniqueness of each individual (child, family member, and colleague)
- Each child is an individual, special and unique in each way
- Respect diversity in children, families, and colleagues
- We live in a "melting pot", we are all different with different cultures that need to be represented in each classroom

Going through the values in both of these website I felt more of thinking similarities with the NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct and Statement of Commitment; these are the ones I identified with the best:
